General Descriptions
FSS(FBS)-3DBH borehole Seismometers are 3-component integrated, electro-magnetic transduction and force-balanced electronic feedback Short-period (Broadband) Seismometer with high sensitivity and large dynamic range. Combined with a sealed cylinder, a fixing chassis and other accessories, they are suitable for seismic observation at the deep well.
FSS(FBS)-3DBH borehole Seismometers use a short period (broadband) mechanical sensor which has stable mechanical resonant frequency and a high sensitivity electro-magnetic transducer. Its equivalent closed loop resonant frequency reaches 1 (0.05)Hz and its observation frequency range reaches 1 (0.05) 40 Hz after using the electronic feedback technology. As a result, the dynamic range of the Seismometer is heightened and the nonlinear distortion is reduced. Because of the above, its compensation capacity against tilt is heightened.
FSS(FBS)-3DBH borehole Seismometers are simple in structure. The electronic feedback circuit and DC transduction circuit are in the same PC Board which is installed in the sealed metal cylinder together with the mechanical sensor, which makes the performance stable and the maintenance easy. It also includes the going-down facility through the well, fixing facility at the bottom of the well, which are scientifically designed to be fixed to the well closely to make the performance stable and the use and maintenance easy. The maximum well depth may reach 1000 m.
